The Lake Eden Arts Festival, featuring roots and world music, contra dancing and healing-arts workshops, happens every May and October at Camp Rockmont, the former site of avant-garde Black Mountain College. LEAF's 20th installment unfolds Friday, May 13 through Sunday, May 15. Weekend passes include camping, and are $120/adults, $95/youth. Tickets at the gate are $30/adults, $25/youth for Friday and Sunday, and $40/adults, $35/youth for Saturday. Children 10 and younger get in free. Friday

• 7:30-8:30 p.m.: Richie Havens

• 9:15-10:15 p.m.: MAKTUB

• Late night: Enter the Haggis (11 p.m.-12 a.m.)

Saturday

• 7-8 p.m.: Samputu & Ingeli Troupe of Rwanda

• 8:30-10 p.m.: Shemekia Copeland

• Late night: Snake Oil Medicine Show (10:30 p.m. until ...)

Sunday

• 1-2 p.m.: Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys

• 2:30-3:30 p.m.: Donald Harrison

• Closing celebration: Donna the Buffalo (4-6 p.m.)
