As Hendersonville gets ready for its annual N.C. Apple Festival this weekend, "A triple hit of weather, from Spring freezes, to hail damage in June, and this Summer's extreme heat, have all had an impact on the [apple] crop," WLOS reports. But the damage was hit or miss, say apple experts, who put the pommes to the test. The crop should "meet or exceed all expectations."
