The Asheville Affiliates is now accepting applications from Asheville-area nonprofit organizations to host one of several fundraising events in the coming months.
Applications can be found online here. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 2.
The Asheville Affiliates are 3,000-plus young professionals invited to attend fundraising events hosted by and supporting NPOs. Past nonprofit benefactors include the Moog Foundation, Asheville Parks & Greenways, RiverLink and The Junior League of Asheville.
"The Asheville Affiliates have helped dozens of local nonprofits over the last decade," says Jonathan Frappier, Asheville Affiliates board president, in a release. "The 2008 board is committed to continuing this support in the community this year. Look for some exciting new changes taking place as well.”
The 2008 Asheville Affiliates board also includes: Sara Shuster, vice-president; Jessica Hunter, secretary; and members Robyn Bacon, Julie Bradley, Martha Evans, Gene Felice, Sara Fields, Kitty Price, Blake Smith, Lauren Williams and Chad Donnahoo.
