The streets of Asheville are a potent mélange, sure. So is our blog community. What happens when they mix?

The sidewalk outside the Asheville Civic Center was jammed with Phish fans this week. Arratik didn’t go, opting to beat the streets for tickets on the night of the show. Skippy Haha didn’t get any tix either, but maybe someone needs a couch to crash on?

Speaking of shows, Thunder Pig found this video of the Guerrilla Street Team extreme promoting.

And She Who Eats found the newest Thai sensation in a gas station.

Speaking of street, this comment thread at Scrutiny Hooligans pits the West side (hip!) versus the North side (pricey! but not as many hipsters!).

So Much For Tact is ruminating on the implications of Google Street View, then gets mushy over the pets. (If he’s feeling sappy, he probably shouldn’t read about Jennifer Saylor’s sick cat or the newborn lambs at Moonmeadow Farm.)

And trying out a new spectrum, Adventures of Supermom is going to be on the teevee, and trying out a new economy, Pleasure Saucer is pitching another local currency.
