A forum in the Burton Street neighborhood on Monday evening will look at the I-26 project’s impact on homes in that area and other parts of West Asheville.
According to the Asheville Design Center, which is hosting the forum along with the Burton Street Neighborhood Association and the WNC Alliance, Asheville Mayor Terry Bellamy and Buncombe County Board of Commissioners Chairman David Gantt plan to speak at the end of the forum. For more on the story, go here.
A neighborhood tour will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 170 Fayetteville St.
