Do you need an excuse to start your spring fitness program? Join Sam Maren and his granddaughter Nora in the new "Family Ride" portion of the Burnsville Metric on April 25. That is, skip the long hilly ride for something a little easier for children, as well as beginner riders. Sponsored by Arthur Morgan School, the route follows a scenic, level route along the Cane River. It will be patrolled by support vans so you can decide to turn around or get picked up at any point. Everyone with a bicycle should try it.
Registration is required, but can be done the morning of the ride at the Town Center, 7:15 a.m. till 8:45. Or you can pre-register and see other relevant information at www.burnsvillemetric.com.
