"A judge could rule Tuesday whether to allow construction of a concrete plant in northern Buncombe County that neighbors say would foul the air and create dangerous traffic.
"Blue Ridge Concrete argues in a lawsuit against the county that plans for a plant on Murphy Hill Road should be allowed to go forward because the N.C. Court of Appeals threw out the county's zoning ordinance.
"The county Board of Adjustment voted unanimously in May 2008 to reject the company's request for a conditional use permit to build the facility."Read the full article
