Christmas Jam lineup announced

The 21st Annual Warren Haynes Christmas Jam will take place at the Asheville Civic Center on Saturday, Dec. 12. VIP tickets ($349) go on sale Monday, Oct. 26 at noon; pre-sale tickets ($55) are available Tuesday, Oct. 27 at noon.

But here's what really matters: The lineup. Just announced:

Ani DiFranco
Gov't Mule

Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews
DJ Logic
Audley Freed
Jackie Greene
Col. Bruce Hampton
Robert Kearns
Kevn Kinney
Eric "Kraz" Krasno

The event's Web site promises more acts will be announced.

    • I agree with the Jackie Green comment .. I don't know about the Prince of Americana title he has picked up but his shows are pretty strong.

    • I really like this lineup...Sure its a little unconventional, but that's a good thing. Jackie Green is solid and Ani is a great choice. If you think she's a let down, then you've never seen her live. I'm looking forward to seeing Audley Freed also.
