The Four Seasons Running Club will host a general membership meeting and social on Tuesday, May 31, at the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce. The event is open to both club members and the community. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided by club sponsor Morris Broadband.
“We want to take some time for the growing membership to get to know each other. We also want to provide an event that the public will feel welcome to attend, according to Ellen Seagle, Director and Co-Founder of the Four Seasons Running Club.
“The club is for all ages and all running levels. We have been getting quite a few family memberships,” adds Chris Power, Director and Co-Founder of the club.
After networking and socializing the agenda will begin with a discussion of the club, the Grand Prix Race Series and the various ways to interact with fellow club members including the Meetup, Twitter and Facebook sites.
At 6:30 p.m. Jeff Carnivale will offer a brief presentation on chi running. Following this, Chris Burns will provide attendees with an update on the Ecusta “Rail to Trail” program. Time for questions and recommendations will follow the presentations. At 7:30 p.m. the meeting will end and attendees are invited to continue to socialize at Hannah Flanagan’s on Main Street in Hendersonville.
