Press release here:

The Asheville Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and the Colburn Earth Science Museum is once again holding a series of free scientific climate change talks.

For the third consecutive year, the local AMS chapter and the Colburn Earth Science Museum are partnering on this series of three free public talks to provide people with clear, timely and accurate scientific information about climate change.

The first presentation of the series – “Climate Change and Local Food and Agriculture” – will be held Tuesday, March 16. On April 13, the second presentation will be "Climate Change and Local Health." The third and final presentation will be “Climate Change and Local Wildlife and Plants.”

Each presentation will begin at 7 p.m. at the Diana Wortham Theatre, and each will be followed by a “meet the panelists” reception at the Colburn Earth Science Museum.
