The Annual Ozone Season Kickoff Event and Press Conference will be held on Monday, March 29th from 10am to 12noon at the Land-of-Sky Regional Council office at 339 New Leicester Hwy in Asheville. The session this year will focus on the US EPA’s proposed revision to the ozone pollution standard and implications for WNC. A US EPA representative will be presenting along with officials from the NC Division of Air Quality, WNC Regional Air Quality Agency and US Forest Service. The public is welcome to attend.
