Thunderpig got this video today and posted it on his blog: Duke Power has been using a helicopter to cut trees in hard to reach areas in Macon and Jackson Counties in far western North Carolina over the past few days and I managed to catch it in action.
This helicopter, it turns out, had a number of saw blades hanging from it and is being used to cut trees away from Duke Energy's power lines in areas that are difficult to access by vehicle.
