Paddle-In News Conference on the French Broad River
The Western North Carolina Alliance (WNCA) will hold a news conference on the French Broad River, tomorrow, April 20, at 10:30 a.m. at the Asheville Outdoor Center, 521 Amboy Road, Asheville. http://www.paddlewithus.com/drivingdirections.html
A paddle-in will be part of the news conference to announce Hartwell Carson, the French Broad Riverkeeper, joining WNCA. He will paddle in with Donna Lissenby of the Waterkeeper Alliance and join Phillip Gibson, the original French Broad Riverkeeper, now chairman of WNCA. The announcement also will discuss the future of the river’s watershed and water quality in Western North Carolina.
