Wolfpack Club’s “Pack the House” Coaches Caravan to Stop in Asheville

NC State's Coach Sidney Lowe and Coach Kellie Harper will speak in Asheville on Monday, May 17. Here's the press release from the university's fundraising organization, The Wolfpack Club:


(Raleigh, NC) --- The Wolfpack Club, NC State’s fundraising organization for athletic scholarships and facility enhancements is proud to announce the Asheville stop of the 2010 “Pack the House” Coaches Caravan on May 17, 2010. This year’s caravan will visit twenty-two cities across the southern United States throughout the spring and summer.

“We are truly excited to visit Asheville during our 2010 Coaches Caravan,” said Bobby Purcell, Executive Director of the Wolfpack Club. “The ability to connect with NC State alumni and fans is extremely important to us. We invite Wolfpack Nation to come out and celebrate NC State athletics.”

There will be a Wolfpack Club Caravan golf tournament with a 12:00PM tee time at the Broadmoor Golf Links on Monday, May 17th. The format will be Captain’s Choice and it is $55 per person to participate which includes lunch. Dinner will begin at 6:30PM at the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center in the Pony Express Café. Head men’s basketball coach Sidney Lowe and head women’s basketball coach Kellie Harper will be attending and speaking with Wolfpack fans. Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for children under 12 years old. Tickets include food and beverage.
