KIDS' HIKE ON THE PARKWAY
July 10

Saturday, July 10, at 1 p.m. Led by Jason Urroz, Kids in Parks Program Manager, Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation
and Kristina Tarasan, Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy AmeriCorps PR/Outreach Member

Kids of all ages and families are welcome to join SAHC for an easy 1.5 mile hike along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The trail starts from the parking lot of the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center and joins the Mountains to Sea Trail. Kids can explore the outdoors and learn about nature with interactive trail games, songs and stories. Hike begins at 1:00pm and is part of the Kids in Parks Initiative, a program sponsored by the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Foundation.
