WLOS-TV says Blue Ridge Concrete Plant and its opponents are suing each other. Controvery has continued before and after the Weaverville-area plant controversies received a permit to operate from the local air board.
The concrete company says an image on the citizen-based site is libelous. The image depicts a concrete truck, identified as a Blue Ridge Concrete vehicle, in a collision with a school bus.
Citizens say they have a right to raise concerns, such as the possibility of a collision, and that the website image doesn't say a collision has actually happened.
