WLOS-TV says Blue Ridge Concrete Plant and its opponents are suing each other. Controvery has continued before and after the Weaverville-area plant controversies received a permit to operate from the local air board.

The concrete company says an image on the citizen-based site is libelous. The image depicts a concrete truck, identified as a Blue Ridge Concrete vehicle, in a collision with a school bus.

Citizens say they have a right to raise concerns, such as the possibility of a collision, and that the website image doesn't say a collision has actually happened.

The citizens site no longer carries the image of the truck and bus collision. Instead, the image has been replaced with the words, "Censored! Until Blue Ridge Libel Suit is Won!"

The citizens site post is located at http://www.nbacc.info/Opposing%20the%20plant.htmlRead the full article
