Last Saturday, August 7, the second annual Baseball & Beers Festival was held at McCormick Field. While baseball wasn't on the agenda, four local bands provided tunes while a number of local and national brewers offered tastes of their suds. The event supported two nonprofit organizations: the Asheville Tourists Childrens' Fund and the Asheville Brewers Alliance.
