Organizing for America and the North Carolina Democratic Coordinated Campaign, Moving North Carolina Forward, will hold an early voting rally and march Friday, October 15, 2010. Supporters will hold a rally at 11:30 a.m., and at 12:15 will march to the polls to take part in one stop early voting.
Organizing for America volunteers have been working since OFA’s June 5 Vote 2010 kick off to reach out to 2008 first-time voters, sporadic voters and newly registered voters to speak to them about the importance of electing Democratic allies for President Obama who will keep the country moving in the right direction and to encourage them to participate in one stop early voting.
As President Obama has made clear in recent weeks, in races across North Carolina voters face a choice between Democrats who have worked tirelessly to move the country forward or a return to the failed Republican policies that drove our country into a ditch. Since taking office, President Obama and Congressional Democrats have passed tax cuts to middle class families and small businesses, all while facing unified opposition from Republicans in Congress.
