Get into the Moogfest spirit with a glass of Moog Filtered Ale, which will be available on tap in various locations throughout this weekend's festivities. Moog Ale will flow at the Asheville Civic Center, the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, the Orange Peel, the Bier Garden and, interestingly enough, at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel. According to Michelle Moog-Koussa, The Bob Moog Foundation’s executive director, the special American pale ale will also be sold at Greenlife Grocery and Bruisin' Ales, which have both received a shipment of bottles of the Moog brew.

In May of 2010, Asheville Brewing Company partnered with the Moog Foundation to create an ale commemorating electronic music mastermind Bob Moog, inventor of the Moog synthesizer.
