Mulch giveaway to City residents will resume in mid-September and will continue into mid-October. Beginning Thursday September 15, the City will have a backhoe operator on site at the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant at 139 Balfour Rd. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The last day for this year’s giveaway will be Saturday, October 22 or while supplies last. The giveaway will begin again in the Spring of 2012. The times will be from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturdays.
