"We're doing it again. Dudes in bands playing songs for people who like it," says the Facebook invite for this three-band show, slated for Broadway's (120 N. Lexington Ave., Asheville, 285-0400) on Friday, Sept. 23, 9 p.m. $5 cover.

Meet the bands: Albert Adams (pictured) is a two-piece bass/drum experimental duo "who have been playing all over Asheville this year, including the 10th anniversary of LAAFF as well as the upcoming Drone Valley Festival."

Jenny Besetzt is a deep-thinking collective from Greensboro who, by their own claims, "frees you from the restraints of time, memory and circumstance. And makes you master of them all" and "is about transcendence over those who see the world as only earthly and finite."

Local trio Alligator Indian recently release their experimental EP Football. Their shows are lush and weird, stylish and uninhibited.
