Full announcement from Nathan Ramsey below:
I am announcing today that I will be a candidate in 2012 to represent Buncombe County in the NC House District 115. Speaking to families and businesses throughout our community, I realize most of us are desperately trying to survive the worst economic recession in generations. As Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for eight years, a small business owner, dairy farmer, and attorney, I will be a passionate voice in Raleigh for pro job policies so that Buncombe County will see a better future. As a member of the NC General Assembly, I will urge that state government build stronger partnerships with our local communities and businesses to improve our schools, streamline state government, and make North Carolina the best place to start a business and to create jobs. I was recognized by the NC Association of County Commissioners for working to find bipartisan solutions instead of focusing on politics. If elected, I will focus on what works regardless of partisan affiliation. I look forward to hearing from everyone all across the community on how we can make Buncombe County and North Carolina a better place to live, raise a family, and grow a business.

Well, of course if he wins, Nathan will always know that the only way he could pull it off was because his buddies in Raleigh carefully redrew the district to carve out current 115th Representative Patsy Keever's house & put her in Susan Fisher's district.
Personally, I would be embarrassed if that's what it took for me to win, but that's just me.
Good luck, Nathan.

you have a problem with republicans redrawing the lines. democrats have drawn the lines for over 100 years, but in your world that is fine. pathetic.
