Homeward Bound Receives a Half Million Dollar Federal Grant, Adding to the Dramatic Success of Ending Homelessness in Buncombe County

On Wednesday, October 12th at 3 p.m., Homeward Bound will announce its receipt of a federal grant of $578,000.

Executive Director Brian Alexander and Representative Susan Fisher will speak. For additional sourcing, representatives from the City of Asheville, Buncombe County, the Homeless Initiative Advisory Board, the Housing Authority of the City of Asheville, and other community partner agencies will be present, along with supportive housing clients.

Homeward Bound is located at 19 N. Ann St. in downtown Asheville. Parking is available adjacent to Homeward Bound at Salvation Army (located on the corner of N. Ann St. and Haywood St.).
