Here's the email sent out today by Andrea Bazek, regional press secretary for National Republican Congressional Committee:
Where in the world is Heath Shuler?
Good Afternoon,
We found him! Heath is having a great time on what seems to be a taxpayer-funded Congressional trip to Sri Lanka. Instead of being honest with North Carolina middle-class families about his support for Obama’s job-destroying policies, Shuler decided to put 9,276 miles between him and the President. How does spending North Carolina families' hard-earned money for a Congressional trip to Sri Lanka bring jobs to Asheville? Shuler must have needed a break after an abysmal fundraising quarter, where he only raised $87,000 for his re-election bid.
NRCC COMMENT: “Shuler is taking a page right out of Obama’s playbook by going on a taxpayer-funded trip to learn how to export more jobs to foreign countries. Shuler can put as many miles as he wants between him and Obama but North Carolina middle-class families understand that his job-destroying policies have made North Carolina’s bad economy even worse.”

Golly, Andrea, I'd be careful complaining about waste when we know you actually get paid to dish out ths tripe. Talk about waste!
We also note that, while your party continues to talk about jobs for North Carolina, its work has clearly been focused on curtailing voting rights, civil rights and educational opportunity. The NC GOP's jobs record is zilch!

Hey Jake, have you read/heard about the beautiful Governor's TIRE PLANT deal that blew up in ENC costing 1300 NEW JOBS??? The reason?
TOTAL NC democrat cronyism, corruption and criminality! Bev Perdue's OWN SON and the Womble Carlyle LAW FIRM were the 'legal eagles' on this
OUTRAGEOUSLY concocted deal costing taxpayers over $100 MILLION into democrat pockets! THIS is what 140 years of total democrat domination has brought us in our once great state. You people are CLUELESS about NC democrats.

What's hilarious is if he had been at the speech they would have said "There goes Shuler, just another liberal like Obama". You read more intelligent things on the stalls in men's rest rooms then you do in Republican press releases.
