The Funeral Consumers Alliance, Inc. of WNC will take up "Medical Ethics and Ethical Dilemmas in Medical Care at the End of Life" at the group's annual meeting Oct. 28.
The program will be presented by the Rev. Brenda K. Lewis, who has been a CarePartners hospice and palliative area chaplain for almost 20 years. Lewis is currently the chair of CarePartners Ethics Committee.
The FCA-WNC is a cooperative, non-profit, non-sectarian organization of area residents dedicated to helping our neighbors make funeral arrangements that are dignified, meaningful and affordable.
The meeting will take place Friday, Oct. 28 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Seymour Auditorium on the CarePartners campus near Bitlmore Village, in Asheville.
