Mission Health has been awarded the prestigious Authorized Provider status for awarding continuing education units to staff by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training. The recognition extends for five years, and includes all staff training programs offered or created during that time.

“What we are most excited about is the benefit for our Mission staff ,” said Sheila Meadows, director of Human Resources for Mission Health. “This designation serves as a quality indicator for our nonclinical continuing education and training programs and offers the ability for us to award CEUs required for staff to achieve and/or maintain professional certifications.”

“We are pleased to welcome Mission Hospital as our newest Authorized Provider organization,” said Karen Niles, President of the association and Director of Professional Development at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in Rockville, MD. Niles added, “Mission joins nearly 650 organizations around the globe that have had their programs vetted by third-party experts in continuing education to ensure the highest possible standards are met.
