Rock slides and similar events lead to major interstate closures costing our region millions of dollars a day.
Land-of-Sky Regional Council is hosting the second I-40 Open Access conference that will address ways that the region can better prepare for natural disasters that impact critical transportation corridors in the region.
Join us on December 6th in Maggie Valley at the Maggie Valley Club and Resort from 9am-2pm and take part in this regional summit that will bolster our preparedness through strategic planning.
Registration is $15 and includes breakfast and lunch.
