This Asheville SCORE seminar is focused on how to launch a highly effective and visually attractive web site in a short time frame. As a business owner, you probably don’t want to have to file your own taxes, but you certainly do need to have some knowledge concerning tax matters. This same management principle is in play concerning your business’ web site. Most small business owners have no desire to have to create their own web site (nor should they!), but they still need to know the core elements involved so they can make informed decisions. This seminar explains those core elements in detail.
This seminar is aimed specifically at new start ups that think or know they need to have a presence on the Internet either for marketing or branding purposes: We will cover such topics as:
• How to set up a business website or choose a good web designer
• How to buy a domain name and choose a good web host
• Learn what works best for website content and how to update your own website with a good CMS (Content Management System) that is right for you
• How e-newsletters can help your marketing efforts
• Code behind the website, and what marketing and management information it can provide
• Learn what works best for website content and how to update your own website with a good CMS (Content Management System) that is right for you
• What should you know about web design and Maintenance
