One of the areas few local talk shows comes to an end after its host walks out. Matt Mittan has hosted WWNC's "Take a Stand" since 2004. This week his producer Agnes Cheek was let go as part of a corporate wide reduction of personnel. Mittan quit after Cheek was laid off. But, he says he also walked away because he was pressured by management to cut back on certain topics. He claims they worried advertisers would pull out.
