“The old Terrace Theater behind Innsbruck Mall on Tunnel Road was recently torn down after closing several years ago. As a kid, I often went to movies there in the late ’70s and early ’80s and was always fascinated by a time capsule that was buried beneath a plaque in front of the box office. As I recall, it was scheduled to be opened around the year 2067. Whatever happened to this time capsule, and what were its contents?”
“When we tore the building down, we didn’t know what to do with the time capsule — you could tell it had been leaking and a lot of the stuff in it had water damage,” [Debbie Medford, manager of Innsbruck Mall] said. ...

Some items didn’t make it — a videotape from WLOS-News 13 inside a metal canister, a 45-record of The Happenings singing “I Got Rhythm,” various papers that were near the opening.
