Here's the email announcement:
S.T.O.P. (Sales Tax Opposition Partnership) will be holding a press conference this Thursday, November 3rd at 10am, on the steps of the Buncombe County Courthouse.
The purpose of this press conference is to publicly announce and distribute our evidence of the clear misuse of funds by the A-B Tech Foundation in this political campaign, and to answer questions from the media on issues related to this sales tax referendum.
We are actively encouraging our supporters and members of the media to attend this important event.....and yes, we will have the "No Tax Signs" for those of you who still need one or two.
Finally, to our volunteers and supporters, thank you for all you have done and continue to do. We are in the final stretch, and we are gaining tremendous momentum as the truth continues to get out to more and more of the voting public. As we keep saying, the more people know about the tax, the less they like it.
We are looking forward to seeing you Thursday. Thank you.

Are you people freakin' insane or just a little ignorant?
Do you not know that this needed tax increase will amount to a whole 25 cents on a $100 purchase? And what can you buy for 25 cents? Nothing! No, wait, you can buy about 4 Ounces of gasoline with which you can move the average car about 1200 yards. Or you could buy 1/30 of an adult matinee theater ticket. You people should be ashamed.
First, stop your pandering to the ignorant and uninformed.
Second, Nota Bene: you should not be calling phones on the "no call list", which mine is.

do you not know that the chances of our tax dollars going where they are supposed to in a non-binding tax is about nil?
or have you forgotten that gov't almost NEVER makes good on its promises... even the ones that ARE binding by law, because the Neo-Amerikan State simply IGNORES the law?
