Full announcement from the Asheville Police Department below:
ASHEVILLE – The Asheville Police Department made 7 x total arrests over the weekend of Occupy Protesters that had been identified as having participated in a November 2nd march through downtown Asheville in violation of the laws of the State of North Carolina. The March on November 2nd, 2011; blocked and impeded traffic in the downtown business district.
The APD is continuing to review video tape of the march and identified those that participated in the illegal activity. Efforts will be made to notify the remaining individuals of outstanding warrants so that they may voluntarily turn themselves in to have the warrants served.
Arrested over the weekend were:
Natalie Nicole Nicolay, 21, of Jackson, TN
Lisa Bain Landis, 53, of Pisgah Forest
Joseph C. Bacanskas, 72, of Asheville
Terry James Whittey, 21, of Hendersonville

Impeding the Flow of Traffic
Unlawful Assembly
All arrests were completed as quickly as possible with no force required. Several onlookers approached officers throughout the weekend’s events and arrests and expressed appreciation for the professional conduct of the officers.
APD continues to enforce the violations in a professional and non-confrontational demeanor, and are thankful for the same behavior displayed by the Occupy Asheville participants when confronted by officers enforcing the laws.

"APD continues to enforce the violations in a professional and non-confrontational demeanor ..." except when they are off duty and the real attitude towards these protestors (and most likely offenders in general) comes out on their Facebook posts .... if Officer Fraser is so naive that she thinks her posts are private I question her ability to do her job as a forensics "expert".
