Of the Friday, Nov. 11 (that's 11/11/11, in case you're keeping track) show at Emerald Lounge, Tom Peters of Asheville's The Critters writes, "This genre-spanning lineup is a veritable showcase of Mountain Xpress Best of WNC readers' poll finalists, so I thought you might be interested. And we want everyone to skip the prom and come party with us so we're only charging $5."

The lineup, besides the Critters, includes RBTS WIN, Zombie Queen and Albert Adams, and the show starts at 10 p.m., so you actually catch some of Prom! at The Grey Eagle and then head over to the Emerald Lounge for round two. Just a thought.
