EPA’s Region 4 is now on twitter. EPA Region 4 serves 8 states in the Southeastern U.S.: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Existing and new twitter users can follow @USEPASoutheast to get the latest environmental news that is relevant them.
Followers of EPA Region 4’s twitter feed will receive updates on public meetings and events, accomplishments, new laws and policies, etc. EPA Region 4 is also tweeting information about free resources designed to help individuals, families, businesses and organizations to become more sustainable. During natural disasters and other emergencies, followers can count on this useful tool to get timely information about how they can protect themselves, their families and the environment.
In addition to the general twitter feed, information specific to Superfund sites in the Southeast will have the hashtag #R4SF and tweets specific to our Children's Health program will have the hashtag #R4CH.
