This Thursday brings three bands for three bucks to the LAB. Grammer School opens at 9:30 p.m. with "retro-ish new wave alt-rock;" instrumental space-rockers A Ghost Like Me follow, and (keeping to the "G" theme) Graviton Project closes out the evening with "live down tempo groove electronica."
What's more, local artist Andy Reed of Infinite Geometry will live-paint while A Ghost Like Me plays. "We're really stoked about this," says the band. "This is what we are all about. Andy is absolutely incredible. He has painted live on stage with basically everyone, including; STS9, Disco Biscuits, Papadosio, Bela Fleck... Come check him out in action."
Do that this Thursday, Nov. 17. 9:30 p.m., $3.
