Grant information now available online at the NC State Trails website for 2012 federal recreational trails program & 2012-2013 state adopt-a-trail grant program.

The Division of Parks and Recreation and the State Trails Program are now accepting
Pre-Applications for the 2012 Federal Recreational Trails Program and Applications for the 2012-22013 State Adopt A Trail grant programs.
The State Trails Program is instituting a "2012 Federal Recreational Trails Program Pre-Application". All agencies and non-profit organizations interested in applying for 2012 Recreational Trails Program (RTP) funding are required to complete & submit the online pre-application by December 30, 2012. Should your Pre-Application be selected, your agency or organization will be notified and invited to submit a 2012 Federal Recreational Trails Program Final Application.
Funding for the State Adopt A Trail Grant Program was included in the State's most recent budget. We are hopeful that the program will remain funded.
