Annual Holiday Tails Event at the
Western North Carolina Nature Center

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Asheville, NC – The Western North Carolina Nature Center will celebrate the holiday season with its annual Holiday Tails event on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the Nature Center is $6 for adults ($8 for non-Asheville residents), $5 for seniors ($7 for non-Asheville residents) and $4 for youth ages 3-15. Children age 2 and under are free.
Guests can participate in winter craft activities, have their photos taken, and visit with Santa! Learn more about the residents of the WNC Nature Center through special animal presentations as part of this family-friendly event. Food will be available for sale.

The Western North Carolina Nature Center is Asheville’s wildlife park and features more than 250 animals native to the Southern Appalachians including cougars, red wolves, otters, birds of prey, black bears, and reptiles. The Nature Center is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is operated by the City of Asheville.
