'Best therapist' at Park Ridge retires (woof!)

For the last 10 years, Montana (a Kuvasz-Siberian husky mixed mutt), worked with Park Ridge Health's HOPE Behavioral Health Program. He retired last week after his 15th birthday, earning his retirement after working eight-to-nine hour days once or twice a week.

"Women said there are good therapists at Park Ridge, but Montana is the best therapist of all," Brenda Wilds, Montana's owner said.

Montana's retirement means there are no therapy dogs at Park Ridge, though Wilds said there are owners interested in bringing in their dogs.Read the full article
