Asheville gets two new restaurants, both set to open within next two weeks

Two new restaurants — one a pub-style restaurant in the River Arts District and the other a high-end steak house in Biltmore Village — plan to open to the public over the next two weeks, adding yet more options to the city’s diverse dining scene.

The Asheville Public, a family-friendly pub-style eatery at 175 Clingman Ave., and Ruth’s Chris Steak House, will be serving family, friends and private parties leading up to the public opening. Their entry onto the local dining scene caps a year that’s seen the arrival of several new restaurants, as well as the closure of a few long-established ones.
