Here's the info via the RiverLink email newsletter:

Tickets are on sale now for the Fourth Annual Winter Warmer Beer Festival coming up Saturday, January 21, 2012, from 3 p.m. -- 7 p.m. at the Asheville Civic Center. Tickets are $39 per person and will include a souvenir mug, samples during the event, live music, and food provided by a local caterer (still being determined at this time). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to RiverLink, a local non-profit working to revitalize the French Broad River as a place for everyone to live, work and play.

The Winter Warmer was started in 2008 by Mark and Trish Lyons of Asheville Brews Cruise in an effort to help the Asheville community "shake off the winter blahs." Every year the event has sold out and grown.

Responding to issues that plagued last year's event, when restroom access was in short supply, this year organizers have planned for additional restroom facilities. There will also be additional food lines, with multiple stations.

Brewing participants from Asheville and WNC include French Broad Brewing Co., Highland Brewing Co., Green Man Ales, Pisgah Brewing Co., Asheville Pizza & Brewing Co., Heinzelmannchen Brewery, Appalachian Craft, Wedge, Craggie, Lexington Avenue Brewing, Catawba Valley Brewing Co. From the Piedmont & Durham area: Foothills, Duck-Rabbit, Triangle, Big Boss, Kind Beers, Lonerider, Natty Greene's; and from South Carolina: Thomas Creek, RJ Rockers; Yazoo will travel from Nashville, TN., and from Atlanta, GA comes SweetWater.

Tickets are available for online purchase now by visiting www.brewscruise.com/beerfest/buy_tickets. Tickets purchased prior to January 12 will be mailed, with any tickets purchased online from January 13-21 available at will call.

All funds donated to RiverLink from this event will be used to build more greenways and open space. Last year RiverLink received $1,500 from this event, which it added to funds from their deed of support sale toward the purchase of the Waller Tract, a future greenway in West Asheville.
