Gov. Bev Perdue today announced that Rep. W. David Guice, a Republican from Transylvania County, has been named director of Community Corrections for the new Department of Public Safety. Guice succeeds Tim Moose, who has been named executive officer for the Division of Adult Corrections. Both positions are effective Jan. 1, 2012.Read the full article
