Gurp City South artists (and San Francisco-by-way-of-Asheville musicians) Fist Fam return to their home turf for end-of-year show. "Take 2 parts Carolina moonshine, 1 part San Francisco liquid acid, 3 parts 4-track rap, and a pinch of 60s punk and you have the Fist Fam’s new record ‘Posted’," says press. Looking for new music? Check out the band's EP Panama Jack. Even better: Next spring, two of the founding members of Fist Fam and Ironfist move back to Asheville. For now, get your hip-hop fix at The Grey Eagle on Thursday, Dec. 29. Also performing: The Ville Boyz, Youngin Go Hard & Superhero Tito, DJ Football, Foul Mouth Jerk and Topr. 9 p.m., $8 in advance or $10 day of show.
