Wow. That's surprising. I would've thought almost anyone could come up with a million dollars in thirty days to outbid US Cellular and keep Asheville's name on their own Civic Center.

Especially since the RFP was most likely very much under the radar. Or was there even one at all?????
One of the last swipes at the intelligence of our Citizenry, by Brownie and the others who voted to delay the decision, in a vain attempt to maintain the "trust of the people."

MtnExp or some other local media coverage, should institute the "best of " dog and pony show, by our City and County leadership.
I'd put this foolish delay tactic, and also the RFP for a "New and innovative" community media to replace public access at the top of the list.
