What: No need to drive to New York City to see Pat Passlof’s work. The late abstract expressionist curated her own retrospective before her death in November and this celebrated exhibition will be on display in two WNC locations. If you’d like to see both exhibits, but don’t want to drive between Asheville and Cullowhee, Western Carolina University is sponsoring a round-trip bus ride between Black Mountain College Museum and Arts Center and WCU’s Fine Art Museum. The trip will coincide with the opening reception, so bus riders will be some of the first to see the exhibit.

When: The exhibition will be on display Thursday, Jan. 26 through Friday, May 25. The bus ride will be offered Jan. 26, with an additional pickup in Waynesville.

Where: Western Carolina University’s Fine Art Museum and Black Mountain College Museum and Arts Center.

Price: Bus trip: $25 or $50 at the “supporter level.”

Contact: Bus reservation: 227-2479. Exhibit information: www.wcu.edu.
