Asheville, NC – The City of Asheville is now accepting entertainment applications for the 2012 Bele Chere festival being held Friday, July 27 through Sunday, July 29, 2012. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012. Applications and additional information are available online at www.belecherefestival.org .
Located in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, Bele Chere showcases more than 40 national, regional and local entertainers on four stages. Now in its 34th year, Bele Chere provides an excellent showcase for local musicians and entertainers of all genres of music.

Bele Chere is the largest free, outdoor street festival in the Southeast, with an attendance of approximately 300,000 annually. The festival is produced by the City of Asheville in conjunction with the Bele Chere Board of Directors.
