Full announcement from the Asheville Police Department:
UPDATE 10 p.m. Three arrested, According to the Asheville Citizen-Times, at this link at this time Matthew Glenn Buckner remains at large and is believed to be with Felicia Hoglen.
The suspects in the vehicle break in that occurred at 31 Woodfin Street and the subsequent spending spree in West Asheville using the stolen credit cards have been identified. Matthew Glenn Buckner w/m 5/29/91 and his brother Christopher Matthew Buckner w/m 09/30/87 have been charged for the crimes related to this case. Both have also been charged with three counts of Felony Theft of a Financial Transaction Card, Felony Financial Card Fraud, and Misdemeanor Larceny. These warrants are outstanding at this time.
A separate female in this matter, Felicia Hoglen, 09-03-92, of 53 Old Wilson Rd., Candler, NC; has also been charged with Felony Financial Card Fraud in relation to this case, and warrants are outstanding.
Their father Matthew Lane Buckner w/m 09/28/67 currently has two open warrants for B+E of a Motor Vehicle and Obtaining Property by False Pretense. These warrants were taken out by APD Detectives for a Break-in to a car at Mission Hospital in September. Detectives have also charged Buckner’s wife Wendy Michelle Buckner w/f 10/28/77 with another Break-in and False Pretense that occurred in September at the Big Lot’s parking lot On Tunnel Road, (those warrants have been served).
The families last known address was the Meadows Apt’s in West Asheville although it’s currently believed that they no longer live at that address. The family is known to drive a grey Toyota Corolla (NRV-2154). Anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of this family is urged to contact crimestoppers at 255-5050 or APD at 252-1110.
