Boston-based (and self-described) "reggae horn funk party" Spiritual Rez says that "their diversity exemplifies their love and desire to put on a live experience that will not only cut to your core, but also ignite the inner flame that exists in us all." They've performed with the likes of Gregory Isaacs, Steel Pulse and Gogol Bordello; their most recent album is 2010's Nexus. Spiritual Rez plays Pisgah Brewing on Thursday, Jan. 19. 9 p.m., $7.
