According to the Asheville Citizen-Times, nside a math class at North Buncombe Middle School on Wednesday afternoon, Autumn Rice got to hug her dad for the first time since last May. She almost didn’t let go.
“I was like, ‘Is this for real?’ Then I found out, it really was real,” the 12-year-old said.
Autumn’s brother, 5-year-old Owen also got a surprise at his school earlier in the day.
