According to the Asheville Citizen-Times, A judge ordered Asheville City Schools to pay nearly $791,900 to three charter schools that sued, saying they were underfunded by the city system.
Superior Court Judge Phillip Ginn also censured the city system for trying to retroactively move money into restricted funds for prior budget years, saying the move appeared to be “a thinly veiled attempt to avoid the jurisdiction of this court and stated law.”Read the full article
