The Open Flame, located 4231 U.S. 221 South, closed its doors Monday and has yet to reopen. A sign on the door says it is closed until further notice.
The family-style eatery with its buffet opened in the former Sagebrush Steakhouse in September 2010 with several owners: David Johnson, his brother James Johnson, Eddie Bingham, Tony Yacovelli, Ruby Killough and Martha Patterson. Keith Hall is the manager.
